Our approach

Innovation is what drives us a Supercritical, we are developing several innovative agricultural products derived from cannabis, and also a range of food and wellness products.

Many of our farm processes have been automated and computerised. Our approach to environmental management is avoid or, where this is not possible, minimise our impacts on the environment.

For example, each plant is uniquely bar-coded and future products can be linked directly to a plant, showing pictures, genetics, fertilization and watering schedules, etc.

Avoiding environmental impacts

We minimise our use of fertilisers and pesticides and use organic products whenever possible. We use renewable energy, like solar power, instead of diesel generators (where applicable) for water pumping. This results in a cheaper long term cost and no damage or pollution to the environment. Collecting our own water helps keep running costs down.

We have been working on connecting forested areas on the farm to allow native species corridors to travel through. Having habitats for insects and animals  helps with pest control as many predatory insects (that prey on pest insects) live in long grass and wooded areas surrounding our crops.
